Yesterday I noticed that I had covered more than 5,000 miles since I started logging my runs less than 3.5 years ago. That was a pretty neat realization. Then I also looked at the calendar and it struck me that the 2008 Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon was exactly a year ago, so yesterday I was able to celebrate having been "a marathoner" for a full year. In 12 days I will be able to say that I've run 3 full marathons in just a hair over a year's time.
I think I forgot to mention that I hit 1500 miles for the year about midway through my 20 miler late last week, too. I'd like to end up somewhere in the 1750-1800 mile range by year's end.

Eventually I need to get out for an easy 5 mile run...but the weather is not helping with the Mojo issues. It's cold, rainy, and windy. Bad things always happen in 3s. Yesterday I ran what may be my last double-digit run (aside from the marathon, of course) for a while. I figure it will be at least 3-4 weeks after my race before I feel up to doing more than 5-6 milers.
